DVD Commentary Meme - Art edition :P
I've never done this meme before but after some encouragement from pooh_collector and angelita26 I decided to give it a try. Obviously this is the art edition as I have not committed a single fic in my fandom years :P

Here's how it works:

Pick any of my artwork pieces (you can use my AO3 work list which is the closest thing I have to a master list ATM) and comment to this post with that selection (including a link to the artwork). I will then give you a DVD commentary on that piece: what I was thinking when I created it, why I created it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain objects/techniques, struggles and challenging aspects and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

How about The Blackmail Game? That was a fabulous piece!

Heee, great choice. Definitely something I've never done before AND something I wasn't planning on doing :D :D :D I had my mind set on something that involves Neal and Sara, with Sara kidnapped and held captive and Neal forced to do some evil deed to save her. I wanted to do a manip with Sara tied to a chair in some room and while the manip itself wasn't a problem, I was having trouble finding a way to include all the information I wanted to include. Like I said, I had a specific scenario in my head and was struggling with putting it all in one pic. It just wasn't working.

So I had to find something different and the only thing I could come up with that would allow me to tell more of the story was something like a series of pics... and pics with some text = comic book pages :D I won't say I haven't struggled with this one, too, but these were only minor bumps along the way. All in all, it was a lot of fun :D

And I still have poor Sara tied to a chair, LOL... I'm sure it's gonna get recycled sooner or later, heee :D

Thank you :D

So it was the story surrounding the scenario that caused you to go for the comic book format :D Well, I'm all for it, because the result was AWESOME.

Anytime :D
