Small tutorial rec
Today I found myself in need of changing the eye color in a pic. I have done this many times and achieved satisfying results but today I had to look for some suggestions because I needed to go from Peter brown (dark color) to Neal blue (light color), heee :D Somehow I've never done this particular combo before (and it's a lot easier to go from light to dark) but a quick search lead me to a great little tutorial which shows you how to do it the right way in only a few easy steps \o/

You can probably also make it work in GIMP, you just need to find the equivalent tools :D And my result:

Hey! For gimp and even PS, you can use selective color to change the colors of the eyes! Much less complicated!

Here's my result:

Yup but one technique doesn't always give you best results, and this tut is very simple and works like a charm :)

ETA: Oh, I just noticed you added a pic... yes, definitely a color change, though if you look closer, the color also seeped into the white reflections in the eye, whereas doing it the way the tutorial suggests allows you to keep the whites and blacks color-free :)
