The Family season 2 tidbits from the showrunner
Well, The Family is officially over *sadface* and of course it ended with a cliffie - one which I kinda felt was coming, heee. I'm glad I guessed it :D I thought they didn't have the material for s2 but after the events in the finale I would have gladly watched another season *le sigh*

For those of you who were also watching - TVLine has published an interview with the showrunner in which she reveals what plans they had for season 2. It's not as glorious and detailed as the Traveler interview was but it's still better than nothing.

Thanks for the link, although it sounds as if she didn't know at the time that it was cancelled, otherwise she might have told us more?

That were quite a lot of new open questions and a few twists too much. I think it would have been better as a mini series with a proper ending, like 11-22-63.

Yeah, I'm definitely a fan of a closed set up for shows like these - you have a set number of eps and you have to tell the whole story within that number :)

Oh, well... now I'm also watching Game of Silence which was also cancelled, LOLOL... and I'm wondering if it will be a similar cliffie to the Family :D It's also a good drama, reminds me a lot of that movie Sleepers from 1996 :)

I'm watching the first season of "Secrets and Lies" on German TV, which seems to get a second season but looks like a new cast and new story. The reason may be that it is a remake of an Australian show that only had one season.

A man finds a dead child while jogging in the woods and the police thinks it was him so he starts his own investigation and finds a lot of secrets and lies in the neighbourhood. I like it!
