7 Days of Self-Promotion - Day 1

Awww, my very first meme. For some reason I'm not very good with memes. But this one is short and awesome and half my flist is doing it :P Originally ganked from

My very first LJ entry was for the 2011 White Collar Advent Calendar and it included four files not necessarily Christmas-related, heee. These were my very first attempts at doing something more advanced. I was still at the very beginning of my Photoshop journey but I was very determined and I was making my way through every possible tutorial I could get my hands on :) I remember the two stormy manips were a nightmare to create (it took me days, not hours, to make them) but once I finally got it more or less right, I was just so happy \o/

Yeah, I guess I was never fond of the "less is more" category *evil grin* But in all fairness, I still overdo it sometimes, it's my curse but I'm fighting it :D

And inspiring.

I now want to write Neal standing in the rain, looking up into the Burkes' house, longing to be inside, with them. A part of their lives.

And when he's completely soaked and chilled to the bone and finally turns to walk away, Peter runs up to him, grabs his arm and hauls him inside :P

I need that fic, no matter what ending :P ♥

As for the manips, I never actually posted them to my LJ, just the whitecollarfic comm, I was new and clueless, heee :D

I have a lot of stuff that was never posted here. I really have to create a master list and add stuff :P

And they both get soaking wet as Peter kisses the stuffing out of Neal. Then come back and El insists they strip out of their wet clothes and get into bed together. Sharing body heat! Or something.

Or El tells them to strip out of their wet clothes and go take a hot shower while she makes the bed ready...hmmm, Peter gets Neal naked and into the shower and then they wash each other and explore their bodies... without saying a single word :P

Wow! I hadn't seen these before, and they're gorgeous. I especially love the first storm one (Neal in the upper left corner). It says so much - there's a lot of fic potential there. It's there for all of them but that first image really speaks to me. Love it!!

I couldn't create something like this if my life depended on it, so I see absolutely no reason to look down at the early days of your artistic journey. Love the manips! And the last one is so angsty and moody, it makes my Muse perk up and take an interest. *headdesk*

Thank you *hugs* I had a thing for angst and h/c from the very beginning. Neal suffers so beautifully and he looks even more beautiful when he finds comfort in Peter's arms ♥ ♥ ♥
